Year in Review

It has been an interesting year full of wonderful highs and terrible lows.  I got married in February.  My father passed away suddenly in May.  My husband and I continued on your journey to travel to all 50 states with a long trek out west.  To celebrate, and to remember both the good and the bad, I've included photos that remind me of 2011.  Some are great, some are not so great but still hold memories.  Happy New Year!

Christmas Fun

I had an excellent photography Christmas this year practicing with the camera.  Can't wait to try again next year!

Tis the bokah season of course

Spent a wonderful evening at the holiday magic lights show at the zoo.  I've seen snow, rain, cold, but today it was warm and crowded.  With nearly every square inch of tree or bush covered in lights, its hard not to take advantage of the bokah possibilities.

Let It Snow

I was so excited to wake up this morning and find a sea of white fluffy snow.  It will be gone by this afternoon so I rushed out and took some snow pics.  I hope it snows again soon.  Winter is for snow. Summer is for warm sun.  That is the nature of things.

Sunny Days

It's that hated time of year when I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. I decided some sunny pictures, while lacking in vitamin D, might at least trigger some sort of happiness chemical in the brain.  It's like cave painting without the spears and woolly mammoths.  Something to pass the time.
