So the mini table studio continues. My table is about to become a reoccurring guest star in my photos as well as random objects around my house that will fit on said table. You have been warned.
In today's spotlight is a small plant that my husband and I got at a wedding. We haven't managed to kill it yet. I love the green background that my backyard provides. Enjoy.

Cookies
It's been a busy weekend this weekend. Two parties and a lot of house cleaning. And the new laptop has arrived so a lot of transferring files and re-downloading Adobe software. But, no matter how busy the weekend, I always find a way to take a few new pictures. I've been wanting to try out food photography but my kitchen has no natural light source. However, my dining room does so my dining room table has now become a mini photo studio. I had to make some cookies for a birthday party so I decided the cookies could be my first models. These chocolate chip cookies make me want eat a whole batch.

Glen Ellyn Theater
There are a few old theaters left sprinkled throughout the western suburbs. The Glen Ellyn Theater is one of the few that still shows movies. I love the colors and the old style lights.

French Markets
Along with bread, good food, wine nothing is more French than the market. After a recent trip to France, I've finally managed to wade through some of my pictures. Lots of pictures to share from Lens, Arles, and Aix. Enjoy, and let the hunger pains begin.

Like a painting
This has always been one of my most favorite photos. My husband and I pulled over the side of the road while driving along the Oregon coast and I saw this woman sitting among the flowers near the shore. So peaceful and so full of color.

Yellowstone
I love the American West. I love the national parks, the mountains, the wide open spaces. I visited Yellowstone for the first time last year. Super crowded but well worth the drive. Who could possibly pass up boiling water gushing from the ground, sulfuric gases, and a giant caldera as a potential summer vacation spot!
