Arboretum

Since snow has been in short supply this year, I rushed out to the arboretum to take some photos of the wonderful snow covered trees. Ran a bit short on time and the trails were best left to those with snowshoes or cross country skis attached.  As I have yet to master the art of balancing my expensive camera while precariously strapped to skis, I decided to stick to the road and where my snow boots would take me.  I lost my pedometer at some point in the snow (sad), but at least I got to test out my first prime lens.

Trains

I always love standing on the bridge over the train tracks.  Yes, I do still wave to the conductor.

Around the house

Exotic locations and far flung locals can lead to great picture opportunities, but that's expensive so the house will do.

Friends

It's been a bit on the chilly side these past few days so I've decided to temporarily hibernate in my den/office/lair/dragon cave with some stuffed friends--some new, some old.  No one is too old for a few stuffed animals.

Bike

I was momentarily nostalgic for summer.  I'm a warm weather bike rider so taking my bike out on a cold and windy day did not seem very appealing.  Instead, I subjected it to an impromptu photoshoot.
