A bit nostalgic for last year's summer vacation road trip out west On the way back east, we stopped at
Craters of the Moon National Monument. A bit out of the way, but worth a visit. It's a huge extinct lava field. Apparently the Apollo astronauts trained here to see what it would be like on the moon. Cool! A few pics from my old camera....
